Dr. Kristin J. Davin is a Professor of Foreign Language Education at UNC Charlotte and a leading researcher on the Seal of Biliteracy. Her work bridges the gap between academic research and practical classroom implementation, providing educators with actionable frameworks for building biliteracy pathways.

A former K-12 Spanish teacher, Dr. Davin brings practical classroom experience to her scholarship. She served as Co-Editor of Foreign Language Annals (2022-2026), the flagship journal of ACTFL, and has received multiple awards including the Stephen A. Freeman Award and the ACTFL Anthony Papalia Award.
